Had a battle with my wife for Friday diner. Felt happy after. While having a walk after together noticed that everything looks fresher and colors are brighter. Good du Pape as usual. Nothing very special, but very good quality. Will buy more.

We bought this white wine in Montreal with friends. We bought one bottle at $12.85. it was so good that we came back and bought 12 bottles. This wine is absolutely great for the value. A perfect match with seafood, cod, and aperitif. We already have tasted some white wine from South West of France, but this one is the one!!! Bravo M. Osmin.

What a value wine!!! From South West of France, this white is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Colombard and Gros Manseng. Very fresh, fruity, lemon, citrus, peach. Very aromatic and refreshing. In fact, you enjoy a glass, and you will come back for the second very easily!! Bravo. Indeed at this price point: This is the right wine to enjoy!

Very light, crisp. A good picnic wine or for lighter fish and shellfish. Fairly long finish. Not sure how it would age. I bought 2 cases to let some grow old. For the money I don't think you could do much better. Conventional scoring I would go 86 or 87.

91% Cabernet Sauvignon 9% Merlot. Wow this wine is stunningly complex! Layers of flavors super dark and incredibly concentrated. This smells like the essence of Cabernet Sauvignon; cassis blackberry raspberry graphite and a touch of earth. On the palate very silky but a massive wine with a tons of persistence and a long rich finish. John Sweeney.

78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, and 2% Cabernet Franc. This wine is very opulent with tremendous texture. On the nose notes of fresh roasted coffee, black pepper and vanilla. In the mouth this wine already is showing its excellent potential. John Sweeney. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2009 Haut Batailley 750ml

This is incredibly floral on the nose, with violet and lilac as well as dark and ripe raspberry and blueberry. Full-bodied, with a dense and incredibly rich palate yet held back and in reserve. Such precision and beauty. It lasts for minutes on the p... Wine Spectator. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2009 Latour, Chateau 750ml

Winemaker's Notes:

"A breathtaking combination of dried flowers and minerals, with dark fruits such as currants and blackberries. Full-bodied, with fabulous fruit concentration, yet its compacted. Velvety tannins. So much fruit and beauty. It's the quality of the tannins that are magic. It is the famous 1959 all over again. Amazing...100" JS 2/12 "A blend of 91.3% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8.7% Merlot with just under 14% natural alcohol, the 2009 Latour is basically a clone of the super 2003, only more structured and potentially more massive and long lived. An elixir of momentous proportions, it boasts a dense purple color as well as an extraordinarily flamboyant bouquet of black fruits, graphite, crushed rocks, subtle oak and a notion of wet steel. It hits the palate with a thundering concoction of thick, juicy blue and black fruits, lead pencil shavings and a chalky minerality. Full-bodied, but very fresh with a finish that lasts over a minute, this is one of the most remarkable young wines I have ever tasted...100" WA 2/12 "#47 Wine Enthusiast Cellar Selections 2012...A big, powerful wine that sums up the richness of the vintage. It is densely fruity, spicy with an enormous black plum and berry fruit character to go with the acidity. It’s concentrated while still showing such wonderfully pure fruit. The aging potential is immense....99" WE 2/12 "This seems to come full circle, with a blazing iron note and mouthwatering acidity up front leading to intense, vibrant cassis, blackberry and cherry skin flavors that course along, followed by the same vivacious minerality that started things off. The tobacco, ganache and espresso notes seem almost superfluous right now, but they’ll join the fray in due time. The question is, can you wait long enough? Best from 2020 through 2040...99" WS 01/12
