Chateau Lascombes Jéroboam 1996

Winemaker's Notes:

Owned by a large brewery group, this 83 hectare domaine should find the very best it has to offer in its more recent vintages. The arrival of a member of the wine-growing elite, Bruno Lemoine, who was formerly at Montrose, is a sure sign. All the necessary ingredients for producing wines from the excellent terrain were already here. The future therefore looks extremely bright.

Chateau Lascombes. a Margaux ranked second growth in the 1855 classification, bears the name of its first owner, Chevalier de Lascombes. born in 1625.
