Château Lascombes 2012

Winemaker's Notes:

*2012 Bordeaux Future. Delivery Fall 2015.*An outstanding wine in this vintage, the full-bodied 2012 Lascombes reveals more power, concentration and texture than many of its peers. Its dense blue/purple color is followed by notes of acacia flowers, blueberries, black raspberries, black currants, vanillin and toast. Medium to full-bodied with excellent texture (for a 2012), as well as good follow through and length, A soft, plush, outstanding Margaux.Robert Parker Wine Advocate (90-92 pts)*We will notify you on arrival. Summer 2015.*

Deep, elegant and complex on the nose with a sophisticated blend of nutty oak, fresh fruits smoky herbs all in balance. Relatively filling in the mouth and supple though with plenty of stuffing, the fruit is fresh but a bit tight, though this does show some nice fresh berry and floral inner mouth perfumes, and dry red fruit on the firm finish which shows great length. Very successful. 93pts

This is a full-bodied wine that shows signs of bitter extraction. It has weight certainly along with signs of dark-plum fruits to go with the firm tannins. A complex aftertaste promises well. Wine Enthusiast.
