Château Larrivet-Haut-Brion Red Bordeaux Blend Pessac-Léognan 2006

Winemaker's Notes:

"This is a strong vintage for Bordeaux’s dry white wines, probably as good or better than 2005. Crisp acidity combined with outstanding concentration and the fact that most of the white grapes were harvested before the rains began in mid-September resulted in an impressive group of wines..88-90" WA 5/07

Dark plums and blackberry fruit aromatics here, with a rather sweet and creamy character. A nicely styled palate, rather delicate, with a nice acidity underneath the substance.
