Chateau Larrivet-Haut-Brion Pessac-Leognan Ml 2003
Tasting Notes :The 2003 vintage does not appear to be up to the high standards of this well-run Pessac-Leognan estate. Lean and earthy, with notes of tobacco, cedar, and black cherries, this dark plum/ruby-tinged 2003 possesses an attenuated, pinched, narrow mid-palate and finish. It can be consumed over the next decade.
Soft nose with just a whisper of wet wool. Thin and sour in the mouth. Disappointing.

The second wine of the legendary Graves property L'Arrivet Haut-Brion, this represents exceptional value for money for a wine created from such prized soils. A blend of half Merlot and half Cabernet Sauvignon, it has an intense nose of black fruit and toasty oak and a soft, supple palate.
