Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Perfumed with gentle notes of cinnamon spice framing mulberry fruit and notes of treebark – smooth and polished in the mouth, ripe tannins, more mulberry fruit, rather soft and lacking some focus across the mid-palate but balanced with nice mid-palate weight and good follow through (87-88)

62% Merlot, 38% Cabernet Franc. 25 hectare vineyard with 38 year old vines planted in clay and limestone soils.100% new oak. Beautiful ruby red color from core to rim. The nose has a lot of nicely integrated aromas of wood, fruit, and crushed earth. ... Alex Lallos. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2007 Angelus 750ml
