A blend of Sauvignon Blanc (40%), Sémillon (40%), and Muscadelle (20%), but the SB dominates the blend. Lemon/lime nose with strong acidity on the palate, along with grass on the short finish. Full bodied and not at all shy. I tend to like acidic wines but this is a bit sour, probably would be better with a few more months in the bottle. Still nice as the weather gets warmer.

Peaches, mangoes and lemon flavors on the nose, before leading to a nice minerality, counter balanced with sweet florals (honeysuckle) and lychee flavors. Crisp on the finish, well balanced.

A full style, rounded and soft, with fresh white pear and plum flavors. It has a perfumed character from the 20% Muscadelle in the blend, which gives it ripeness but diminishes the fresh acidity.

(Barrel sample) This wine is fresh, layered with some attractive lightweight botrytis and delicate fruit. What it offers in accessibility it lacks in concentration, and will age fairly quickly.

Crisp and refreshing without being too sharp, Chateau Lamothe Blanc is a consistently great buy. Medium- to light-bodied, the '07 is rounded and earthy from the 40% Sémillon blended with the Sauvignon Blanc. Fresh green pepper notes are highlighted by zesty lemon-lime on the palate. This wine was built to be served with food - try pairing it with oysters or mussels with a lemon butter sauce.

It just wouldn't be summer without those crisp, zesty Sauvignon Blancs, but many are just too light for those die-hard Chardonnay drinkers. Enter the white Bordeaux - blended with Semillon to give it more weight and richness, but still remaining super-fresh, it is the perfect compromise. Pair this one with shrimp salad, grilled sole or Italian pasta salad.

Reminiscent of springtime, this dry Sauvignon Blanc-based white offers a fragrant bouquet of wild flowers, followed by enticing flavors of passion fruit and key limes that finish with a clean and zesty blast.

This is a traditional blend of 40% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Sémillon and 20% Muscadelle. Refreshingly acidic and fruit forward, it is an excellent aperitif and pairs well with fish and oysters.
