A blend of Sauvignon Blanc (40%), Sémillon (40%), and Muscadelle (20%), but the SB dominates the blend. Lemon/lime nose with strong acidity on the palate, along with grass on the short finish. Full bodied and not at all shy. I tend to like acidic wines but this is a bit sour, probably would be better with a few more months in the bottle. Still nice as the weather gets warmer.
Citrus, peach and honeysuckle. Crisp, acidic and refreshing.
Peaches, mangoes and lemon flavors on the nose, before leading to a nice minerality, counter balanced with sweet florals (honeysuckle) and lychee flavors. Crisp on the finish, well balanced.
Beautiful citrus peach -crisp . Some tartness but refreshing

Located in the hilly region of the Premieres Côtes de Bordeaux on the right bank of the Garonne river in the charming town of Haux. Château Lamothe dates back to the 16th century. The cool sandstone caves that tunnel underneath the foundation of the property accommodate the cellars, where the wine ages at an optimum 56°-60° year round. Château Lamothe has 122 acres planted in vines; their white wine plantings consist of 40% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Sèmillon and 20% Muscadelle. This estate-bottled wine is well-balanced, with dry, delicious flavors.
A great buy! You can tell from the nose how super-ripe it is. Grapefruit, ginger, quince, and a whole slew of citrus oil aromas and flavors coalesce beautifully in this refreshing and vibrant Sauvignon Blanc, moving from in-your-face fruit, to tangy acidity, into a conclusive, pitch-perfect harmony. Enjoy it while it's young and spry.
Crisp and refreshing without being too sharp, Chateau Lamothe Blanc is a consistently great buy. Medium- to light-bodied, the '07 is rounded and earthy from the 40% Sémillon blended with the Sauvignon Blanc. Fresh green pepper notes are highlighted by zesty lemon-lime on the palate. This wine was built to be served with food - try pairing it with oysters or mussels with a lemon butter sauce.
This is a traditional blend of 40% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Sémillon and 20% Muscadelle. Refreshingly acidic and fruit forward, it is an excellent aperitif and pairs well with fish and oysters.
