Food Pairings for Chateau Lacaussade St-Martin Premieres Cotes de Blaye
Oddly enough, went well with a steak marinated in a lemon vinegrette, and during dessert with vanilla ice cream. Smooth, rich coloured red with fruity after taste. A few steps more and this could be a port wine. Lable lists this as a wine from Gironde, France, so I don't know why it is listed as a German Rhine. Any answers?
