This Margaux has a nice scent of candied cherry and plum with a touch of cedar as well. On the palate, there is some fruit density but less than in exceptional years... with good tannin, however, indicating structure. Can be held for 3-5 more years if desired. 88 points.

Pretty plummy. Currant aromas follow through to a full-bodied palate, with chewy tannins and a long persistent finish. Structured. Very well done from this estate. Barrel Tasted Score range: 89-91 JS - Wine Spectator Magazine 89 PointsThis blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, and the rest Petit Verdot is a soft, round, medium to full-bodied wine with lots of earthy black cherry and black currant fruit as well as some background oak and earth undertones. The wine has pleasant, soft tannins and is ideal for drinking over the next 7-8 years. - Robert Parker 87 Points
