- "Very pretty aromas of fresh fruit and chocolate. Medium- to full-bodied, with fresh fruit, silky tannins and a long, caressing finish. Delicious and solid…90" WS 3/07.

- [M 60%, CF 38%, CS 2%] Deep colour with some brownish hints. Relatively opulent but not especially concentrated. A very mellow La Tour Haut Brion taking the vintage into account. Uncompromisingly dry on the finish but the tannins are very fine. Mild wine with no exaggerated characteristics. Delicate even. Pretty.

- Chateau La Tour Haut Brion Pessac Leognan Full ruby-red. Inky black cherry and bitter chocolate aromas. Suave; strong acidity gives excellent flavor delineation. Bitter chocolate and black cherry are lifted by a floral element. Best on the long finish: impressive tannic structure.
