Château la Tour de Mons Red Bordeaux Blend Margaux 2003

External Review by Millesima USA LLC:

A property dating from the 13th century, La Tour de Mons was purchased by investors in 1995, and they undertook a substantial renovation of the chais and installed new drainage in the vineyards. Plantings are 48% Merlot, 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot and 6% Cabernet Franc. The chateau produces a highly reliable example of the elegant, fragrant style (called la tradition margalaise in French) that has given Margaux its reputation. Chateau La Tour de Mons 2003 has been awarded our seal of 'Everyday Excellence'. We believe this wine offers delicious drinkability at an affordable price - we hope you agree! This is a wine with a wonderful fragrance of red and black fruits and a very well balanced palate which exemplifies the charms of Margaux,
