Since 2005, the Sumeire family of Château La Tour de l’Evêque has been farming organically (certified by Qualite-France SAS FR BIO). The family has owned the estate and made wine since 1880. Now all the wines are made by the daughter, Regine Sumeire, who has inherited the passion for wine-making from her father. “She certainly has one of the best situated estates, located on a hilly terrain within view of one of the Riviera’s legendary spots, the fishing village and hangout for artists and high society, St Tropez.
