Tasting Notes: - RVI, 12/06/2005: Château La Roche Beaulieu: Bordeaux Amavinum 2004, Rouge: Un joli bordeaux sur le fruit mâtiné d un léger boisé. A boire dans sa jeunesse, dans les trois ans. Percentage Grape: Grape Variety: 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet franc, 5% Cabernet sauvignon - Average of vines: 40 years old. The oldest parcels were planted in 1910 and 1914. - Cultivation: early harvest : twice ; 7 to 9 bunches per vine at the end ; double thinning-out of leaves West + East Soil: Terroir of clay and limestone, on a calcareous rock with shell remains showing in numerous places.
