Château la Nerthe White Rhone Blend Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc Clos de Beauvenir 2007
Wine Tasting Notes Wine with a bright yellowdress, limpid and young hints. Intense bouquet of spring and white flowers, apple, pear, light woody notes and vanilla. On the palate, a frank attack and a real volume, aromas of fresh fruits and white peach with subtle barrel notes. A wine with a long elegant finish.
Château La Nerthe is the oldest producer in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, producing wine since 1560. The winery has been certified organic since 1998, and is among the region’s top five wineries. La Nerthe is a leader in the art of blending, combining up to 13 varieties - so that no one dominates.
Rewarding complexity and drinkability for a price that isn't too high for Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Well balanced fruit and tannin, this wine will benefit from keeping a little longer or, at the very least, giving some time to breathe.
