Editorial Reviews for Château la Nerthe White Rhone Blend Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc
Dense on the nose with notes of lemon custard and lightly roasted orchard fruits enlivened by a grassy edge, some subtle hints of spice and a touch of gravel. Almost sweet on entry, this is fairly full bodied and very broad in the mouth. It’s a soft, slightly languid style of wine, but well done in its style. Lots of flavor here: apples, citrus pith, some sweet apricot glaze, patisserie tones and a little butteriness on the back end. The finish is a touch lean, of decent length and offering a clean, zesty compliment to the fruit of the palate. Not my style but very well done. 90pts
Bright, tart flavors on the nose (green apple, lemon), getting warmer and riper on the palate into peach, very zingy finish!
Elegant and pleasant nose and palate, super soft fruit notes, light yet buttery body, with light tannins and mild acidity. Delicious to drink alone but complimented perfectly a grilled Branzino with Pico de Gallo and Avocado salad.
Apple, buttery upfront with slight acid on the finish - really enjoyed this one!

Wine with a bright yellow dress, limpid and young hints. Intense bouquet of spring and white flowers, apple, pear, light woody notes and vanilla. On the palate, a frank attack and a real volume, aromas of fresh fruits and white peach with subtle barrel notes. A wine with a long elegant finish.
