Châteauneuf-du-pape blanc is is a little known but striking wine. Blended from Grenache Blanc, Boubelenc, Roussanne & Clairette, the wines unique spicy yet floral qualities make it a crowd pleaser and it’s firm acidity provides the structure for a rare white which can benefit from a small amount of aging.
Château La Nerthe is the oldest producer in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, producing wine since 1560. The winery has been certified organic since 1998, and is among the region’s top five wineries. La Nerthe is a leader in the art of blending, combining up to 13 varieties - so that no one dominates.
