Chateauneuf du Pape blanc (51% Roussanne 32% Grenache Blanc and 17% Clairette and Bourboulenc) is a stunning effort aged in tank (70%) and wood (30%). It offers a beautiful nose of flowers citrus white currants and rose petals. Medium-bodied with crisp acidity this long rich impressively textured white should drink well for 5-6 years.
Château La Nerthe is the oldest producer in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, producing wine since 1560. The winery has been certified organic since 1998, and is among the region’s top five wineries. La Nerthe is a leader in the art of blending, combining up to 13 varieties - so that no one dominates.
