Château la Mondotte Saint Émilion Grand Cru 2006

Winemaker's Notes:

La Mondotte is deeply-coloured, well-structured, and extraordinarily opulent. The terroir also confers unparalleled finesse. This rare wine (maximum annual production of just 11,000 bottles) is always in very great demand.

There is excellent fruit on the attack. It should put on weight and reveal more seamlessness after aging in barrel. The raw potential for something even more exquisite than my initial rating suggests is obvious.
