Château la Gorce Red Bordeaux Blend Médoc 2009

Member Review by zufrieden:

This wine is one of the first released 2009 Bordeaux available. For a wine about 2 years old from a much (overly) touted vintage, it lacks the grip one might expect, but then it is tasty, balanced and ready to drink - with all the Médoc blackberry-cassis juiciness one wants in such a beverage. Perhaps we can expect early maturity from some of these overheated wines - who knows? In any case, this petit chateau has produced above average results with a good earthy bramble berry nose and similar flavor on the palate. The medium finish seems appropriate and the quality seems to hit above the price which is significantly lower in the United Sates. Good value.

Ils ne cessent depuis de concentrer leurs efforts à l'obtention de vins de très haute qualité. Read less
