This classic Bordeaux has deep color and wonderful aromatics — remarkable, considering its affordable price. The rich, plummy fruit makes this a natural to keep on hand for everyday meals.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

A ghost wafts out of the glass, haunting the nose with aromas of deep, dark fruits. This medium-bodied Bordeaux hangs on the tongue like so many wines before, but it is not so many wines before; it is now, you are feeling it, tasting it, firm tannins, cherries and blackberries, they are happening. The ghost dissolves.
