- This 100% Merlot cuvee, from a 7.5-acre vineyard situated high on the plateau of Pomerol between Petrus and Lafleur, has turned out exceptionally well in 2006. It boasts a deep saturated blue purple color as well as a gorgeous bouquet of graphite, blueberries, black raspberries, sweet cherries, and spicy, toasty oak, a luscious texture, sweet tannin, and impressive length. It should be approachable in 3-4 years and last for two decades.
