Food Pairings for Château la Fleur de Boüard Red Bordeaux Blend Lalande de Pomerol le Plus
Süsslich aber elegant. Fast schon trinkfertig! Macht Freude!
Dark black cherry robe; nose is pretty much closed with some black currant and cassis trying to break through. Oak is also quite noticeable at this stage in the wine's development. Good structure with bright, integrated tannins and the Merlot backbone emerges well on entry. Finish is quite long but somewhat overpowered by new oak. Should age for 6-8 years at least. A very nice expression of the right bank and one of the best for the price I've tasted so far from this vintage.
Delicious and velvety smooth right bank blend. I found this CHEAP at Sams Club and will get more. Especially delicious with the cheese we had after dinner. Highly recommended if you can find it at a value.

The 2011 La Fleur de Bouard, a blend of 85% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc and a tiny bit of Cabernet Sauvignon, averaged 13.7% natural alcohol. The luxury cuvee, the 2011 La Plus de la Fleur de Bouard (100% Merlot from a 5-acre parcel of 40-year-old vines), exhibits over-the-top concentration (yields were an amazingly low 20 hectoliters per hectare). An opaque blue/purple color is followed b... Robert Parkers Wine Advocate. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2011 La Fleur de Bouard 1500ml
This has concentration and power for the vintage, with cassis and linzer torte notes laced with a racy iron edge. Nice flash of anise on the finish. Has some wood to soak up, but very solid stuffing here.-J.M. Wine Spectator. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2011 La Fleur de Bouard 1500ml
80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon combine to produce a wine that opens with scents of coca powder, fresh ripe black raspberry and chocoalte. The round, supple textured wine ends with black cherry, plum and bitter chocolate. Jeff Leve. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2010 La Fleur de Bouard 1500ml
100% merlot. 40-year-old vines yielded only 20 hls/ha. Aged 33 months in new French barriques. Hugely concentrated, chocolate-dipped cherry and blue fruit emerge on the luscious and mouth coating palate. Charcoal, licorice and leather are layered wit... Neil Mechanic.
