Impressive aromas of raw meat and fresh fruit, with hints of smoke. Full-bodied and very velvety, with a long, caressing finish and ripe fruit. Super. Serious wine for the money. Best after 2007. 5,000 cases made. Wine Spectator. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2000 La Fleur de Bouard 750ml

Winemaker's Notes:

Visual Aspect: A very dark hue, slightly cloudy with purple tints stained with brick-red tinges. Nose: Complex aromas of black fruit such as prune along with a buttery, cocoa hint. Palate: A full-bodied wine, round on the first taste it is pleasantly fleshy, warm and rich with excellent tannic texture The flavours are pleasantly long-lasting.
