Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

User Reviews for Chateau la Fleur de Bouard

Winemaker's Notes:

From Hubert de Bouard of Chateau Angelus! "Hubert de Bouard's reference point estate in Lalande de Pomerol continues to produce wines that are truly revelations of what can be accomplished in this appellation. His 2004 La Fleur de Bouard (80% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc as well as a dollop of Cabernet Sauvignon) is a fabulous sleeper of the vintage. Its deep ruby/purple hue is followed by scents of cassis, blackberries, smoke, licorice, and background new oak. Medium to full-bodied with fabulous fruit, supple tannin, and low acidity, it should be enjoyed over the next 7-10 years."
