Chateau la Croix Blanche Montagne Saint Émilion 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

Claude Guimberteau's family has run this 35-acre vineyard of Merlot, Cab Franc and Sauvignon for five generations. The vines average 35 years old, and this quality shows. Aged in French oak, the wine is deep purple, almost black, with an elegant bouquet of ripe fruit. On the palate it is all black fruits sustained by good tannic structure and a persistent finish.
