Château la Coustarelle Cahors Grande Cuvée Prestige 2004
Loads of pleasantly sour ripe dark cherry and some berry fruit with a hint of apple.. Nose of spicy bush and a strong, cooling sour cherry nose. Drying tannins. Finish of fruit and tannin. Good value at price tested, south of $13.
Very smooth and dark, with a fair amount of tannins, but well balanced. Medium body, not much on the nose. The blend is 90% Malbec and 10% Tannat. The color is deep.
