- A superb effort from young Jean-Philippe Janoueix, this inky purple-colored wine displays moderately intense, but pure aromatics of black fruits, lead pencil shavings, smoke, and camphor. Terrific fruit on the attack, medium to full body, a layered mouthfeel, and substantial, but sweet, well-integrated tannin suggest this stunning St.-Emilion will be at its finest between 2012-2025.
