External Reviews for Château la Bienfaisance Red Bordeaux Blend St. Émilion Grand Cru Sanctus
A deep, dark purple colour. An intense nose of concentrated soft red fruit with a discreet, elegant woodiness.Harmonious and expressive on the palate with a background of ripe fruit and smooth, fresh tannins.A wine of excellent length with all the promise of a great future as it comes round.
A 2005 Bordeaux that is an extraordinary value considering the very high prices this vintage is fetching.
80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc. Dark purple gradually turning to bright red/violet rim. Dusty chocolate, limestone, cherry and blackberry on the nose with slight hints of mint. Fairly bold tannic structure supports the fruit on the palate. Very chewy... Mike Supple. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2005 La Bienfaisance 3000ml
