What to Expect

Merlot has gotten a bad rap as of late but there is no denying the wine's appeal. Packed with deep, dark berry fruit and nuanced hints of cocoa, herb and earth with a soft structure. Its velvety texture makes Merlot instantly appealing and an obvious alternative to similar, more tannic Bordeaux varieties.

Winemakers Notes

Tasting Notes: Dark garnet colour- black fruits and plum aromas. Smouth mouth, coated tanins, nice presence in final. Agreement with grilled meats and in sauce.

Percentage Grape: Merlot 50% Syrah 25% Grenache noir 25%

Soil: old stony terrace

Growing Climate: The vineyard is situated at 10 kms of "Carcassonne" with a climate of transition under Mediterranean influence. the grapes are picked early in the morning for the noble grape varieties.

Date of Harvest: 18 au 30 septembre
