Chateau Jean Faure Saint Emilion Grand Cru 2014

Member Review by thsozo:

a blend of 54% cabernet franc, 40% merlot and 6% malbec, cropped at 26 hectoliters per hectare ; 40% new oak. Certainly the best vintage of this property since the new owner buy it in 2004 (not interesting before). A immensely smooth, polished wine, fantastic fine-grained, a small Cheval Blanc ? No, a real personality and certainly the most important resurrection of very good terroir of the last ten years. Amazing!
