Food Pairings for Château Haut-piquat "lussac Saint-emilion"
I would rate this wine a 4. It is still young which is to be expected from a well structured St. Emilion such as this little gem. The nose was full of Berries and fruit along with that hint of cassis that adds such a wonderful undertone to the aroma. Fruit forward, long on the pallett and just the right amount of tanin make this little gem is totally enjoyable and a great value for the price.

The Château Haut-Piquat vineyard in the village of Lussac in the Bordeuax region has planted vines consisting of 75% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc. This red wine has the aroma of ripe red fruits yet has a smooth earthy palate.
