A light, sugar-like cherry nose with perhaps a hit of wet earth. Plum and cherry dominate the palate with some soft but forward tannin still in evidence. Some structure and elegance but flattening out with little to offer the true hedonist (though perhaps an Epicurean might like this simple, non-seductive blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot). Not a bad wine at all for session drinking - and we need such wines.
