What to Expect

Cabenet Sauvignon: Originally of French origins, this versatile grape produces exceptional wines around the globe. It's usually medium to full bodied with a fine structure that supports black and red fruit flavors with typical notes of olive, chili and herbs that add complexity.

Winemakers Notes

Château Haut Perthus is a real find for us. This affordable blend of Merlot (60%) and Cabernet Franc (40%) is aged in aged in oak barrels. This Bergerac vineyard is settled amongst the Dordogne hillsides. The wines are light and perfumed, fruity and supple. They are best consumed in their youth with mouth-filling and juicy on grilled meats or Bergerac traditional cooking.
