Add your reviewI bought this wine from Leon Stolarski at www.lsfinewines.co.uk and I paid around £8.It is mainly Malbec with 10-20% Merlot. liked it and I did not think the tannins too strong.This is nothing like a Madiran.It is a smooth and fruity wine In the eighteenth Century officers in the French armed forces were served Cahors at dinner while the other ranks had to make do with mere Bordeaux.I thought Chateau Haut-Monplaisir the equal of a good claret.This is not the only Cahors I have had and it is an Appellation I like.Today Cahors is usually a lot cheaper,or perhaps I should say better value, than Bordeaux
