Opaque ruby color. Powerful and concentrated bouquet of ripe black fruit, coffee, and caramel. It is full bodied and dense on the palate with big, soft tannins. The finish is long and smooth. This wine is drinking nicely now, and will cellar for another 8 to 10 years. Serve with beef roasts, or red meats in rich sauces such as forestière.
