Dark ruby at the core with little variation towards the rim. The nose opens with sweet plum, grilled beef, tobacco, and smoke, framed by cassis and crushed rocks. The Cabernet based Graves has all the opulence and ripeness characteristic of a great vintage. The nose gives aromas of currant and black cherry fruit along with smoky charcoal and earth. Though it's drinking well now, three years in the cellar wouldn't hurt.
