Château Haut-Batailley Red Bordeaux Blend Pauillac 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

This highly scored Paulliac has a vibrant and dense hue which leads to a serious nose featuring sweet berry, currant and mint. The palate follows the same clean line, exhibiting lovely, round berry fruit and a hint of loamy soil. This medium-bodied wine has splendid breadth, minerals and bright fruit, making it an appetising wine with a smooth texture, soft tannins and a pretty, elegant style. It is nicely poised and will develop over time to be a very goodHaut Batailley, and should drink nicely for 15+ years.

78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, and 2% Cabernet Franc. This wine is very opulent with tremendous texture. On the nose notes of fresh roasted coffee, black pepper and vanilla. In the mouth this wine already is showing its excellent potential. John Sweeney. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2009 Haut Batailley 750ml
