Château Gruaud Larose Red Bordeaux Blend St. Julien 1999

Winemaker's Notes:

Tasting Notes :An exotic perfume of tapenade, new saddle leather, damp earth, black currants, cherries, and smoke jumps from the glass of this impressive, powerful 1999. The wine is medium-bodied with moderate tannin. This dark plum/ruby-colored St.-Julien requires another 2-3 years of cellaring.

Dark color. Notes of smoke, tobacco, berry. Medium bodied with fine tannins, great moutfeel. Very earthy w/ notes of pepper, leather. Nice long finish. 92 pts

In der Nase erkennt man die Aromen von Eukalyptus und Kaffee. Das Finale ist etwas trocken, klassisch und tanninreich.
