- ST: Deep red-ruby. Full-blown aromas of raspberry liqueur, dark chocolate and leather. Large-scaled, chewy and rich but with a fine-grained texture. This is silky and fat but not heavy thanks to surprisingly fresh acidity. Flavors of blackberry, plum, tar, tobacco and earth are joined by an almost roasted note on the back end. Finishes impressively rich and long, with big but thoroughly ripe, granular tannins.
