A good everyday drinker. Plum, black currant, vanilla, tobacco and a hint of green bell pepper on the nose. Lots of dark fruit, medium body, good structure and a fairly long finish. It is aging well in the bottle.
Deep ruby/purple-colored with low acidity, cherry cough syrup-like flavors, a plump, fleshy mid-palate, and a sexy finish. It does not yet reveal much complexity, but it is mouthfilling and substantial. On the palate the wine is true to its origins mdash; structured, concentrated with good lift mdash; never cloying. Cedar spice, blackberry and cassis layer this dense, full-bodied red.
