It started with one vineyard more than three decades ago. Now Chateau Grand Traverse has moved into its second generation of family winemaking – producing eighteen wine varieties from four vineyards sprawling across more than 120 acres, all earning countless medals to attest to the care and quality we put into every bottle.
Nice mixed wine.
Fantastic White, Dry blend from Northern Michigan - The State of Riesling. This wine in 2008 (on of the best vintages in that region) is 35% Pinot Gris, 55% Pinot Blanc, 10% Pinot Noir: Deep straw color, with under-ripe green apple, citrus and mineral flavors and aromas; medium full bodied, with good cut and length; rich, round and just ripe enough, this is a fine complement for a fatoush salad and chicken schwarma and wiches. We love it!
