It started with one vineyard more than three decades ago. Now Chateau Grand Traverse has moved into its second generation of family winemaking – producing eighteen wine varieties from four vineyards sprawling across more than 120 acres, all earning countless medals to attest to the care and quality we put into every bottle.
Chateau Grand Traverse is a good vineyard, but this one needs work.
This was a pretty good wine. I'm new to red wine, so this was a perfect fit for me. It wasn't too strong, pretty sweet and had a nice buttery finish to it. If you're looking for a decent red to start with, try this one!
This is a "go to" sweet red table wine for us.
I was happy with this one. CGT has better offerings but at this price this one is pretty good.-ep
