Grand Puy Lacoste - 1978 Billed as a standout vintage from this chateau, the wine (a magnum) tasted overwhelmingly like green peppers and smoke - a most unpleasant beverage to consume with food. The wine is mediocre by any standards. The emperor has no clothes.
