Château Gloria Red Bordeaux Blend St. Julien 2011

Winemaker's Notes:

"This estate continues to go from strength to strength. Another *sleeper of the vintage*, the 2011 is excellent, possibly outstanding. Its dense ruby/purple color is followed by abundant aromas of cassis, forest floor, tobacco leaf and a vague hint of oak. Ripe for the vintage with *excellent texture*, a medium to full-bodied mouthfeel and a delicious, savory, broad appeal, this wine should drink well for at least a decade." Robert Parker Wine Advocate*Robert Parker rating: (89-91 pts.)**We will notify you on arrival summer 2014.*

The work initiated by Mr Di Costanzo on this property since the early 2000s is starting to pay off. It shows off particularly in this vintage that is not easy to achieve. The color is dark and has good intensity. The nose appears fruity of average aromatic intensity. Finely chubby on entry the wine melts on the mid-palate finishing with apparent and coated tannins. Finish of average length. Very enjoyable wine without being powerful. Jean-Marc Quarin - www.quarin.com

Mouthfilling and gutsy, a fun, rustic style with chewy plum, fig and blackberry backed by a very briary finish.-J.M. Wine Spectator. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2011 Chateau Gloria St. Julien 1500ml
