27 year old Bordeaux that's showing its age. Very soft and open-knit, with pleasant, classic old-Bordeaxu aromas of cedar and toffee. Still enjoyable (in early 2010) but its softness and lack of structure suggests it should be drunk in the next few years. This wine was completely dominated by a 1982 Lynch Bages tasted next to it.

This wine was a big, rich fruit bomb in its youth, revealing notions of tapenade, olives, and herbs. It has always been delicious, and continues to display glorious levels of fruit, attractive, sweet tannin, and a velvety texture. I mistakenly though... Robert Parkers Wine Advocate. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 1982 Chateau Gloria St. Julien 750ml
