Winemaker's Notes:

Wine Spectator "Wonderful aromas of crme de cassis, with citrus undertones. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins, a nice texture and a long, caressing finish. Best after 2009." Rich, fruity nose of blueberries, black currants and elder tree. Intense full-bodied palate with concentrated flavors and lovely tannins in the grand Pauillac tradition. A velvety beauty!Cheese Pairings: New York 5-Year Cheddar, Quebec 8-Year Cheddar, 4-Year Gouda, Old Amsterdam 5-Year GoudaFood Pairings: Grilled Pork Chops, Herb-Rubbed Rib Roast, Italian Sausage
