Château Florie Aude France Red Merlot Still Bordeaux Aoc 2009

Member Review by stevedmarsh:

You can't buy a better Bordeaux for the price. Color: deep dark ruby red. Aroma: (my nose is not the best) plum, black cherry, something darker (sorry). Taste: Big but smooth, quite dry, not astringent at all. I taste plums, berries, a little oak. The rating is based on how good the wine is and how good the price is.

Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

This is what you are looking for if you are thinking French, elegant, rich, flavorful, and not $100 a bottle. A true grand vin de bordeaux made during a fine year for bordeaux. Enjoy! I certainly did.
