Decanted this wine for about 1 1/2 hours. Pours a deep dark violet color with dark red hues on the edge. Strong aromas of coffee, dark berries, cherries, chocolate and licorice. The dark berries and cherries hit the palate first and provide a rich yet light feel. In the middle, the dark berries mix with some chocolate, vanilla and coffee creating a complex and delicious blend. Finishes with more of the same but only intensified. This is a full bodied and nicely structured wine. Leaves a long lasting taste on the palate. This is drinking well now but could go much longer in the cellar. Glad I have another bottle in there but happy to taste this right now.
