The perfect Bordeaux for your steak frites tonight! The nose on this red has classic Cabernet notes of pure blackcurrant fruit that carry through to the palate. The wine is made in a very clean, very "Old World" style, making it a great choice for the table.

Winemaker's Notes:

Score: N/A Tasting Notes: Harvesting is done by hand to reduce the risk of oxidation and to prevent as much damage to the grapes as possible. Fermentation takes place in small stainless steel vats so that the mixing of aromas and skins is at a maximum when the juice is pumped over. It is matured in a cool cellar for 18 months before being bottled. The resulting wine is well-balanced, has rich, fruity aromas and a lovely colour. This wine's bright red colour and spicy nose make it a fresh and elegant one, with well-developed, ripe tannins. Serve it with barbecued red meats, or cheeses such as Livarot, Pont L'Eveque and Camembert.--Winemakers Note
