Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

This is silky and beautifully creamy in the mouth. Medium-bodied there s nothing heavy or big here just a sense of harmony. So ethereal it s the sort of wine one could drink almost every night.--Yquem vertical. Drink now through 2030. (PM) Wine Spectator.

Tasted at a private dinner in Antwerp. A suitable Yquem to conclude a truly memorable dinner in Antwerp and this is the best bottle that I have found. It has a sublime bouquet of quince marmalade dried apricot and orange-blossom that offers stunning clarity given that it is now 37 years old. This bottle shows less oxidation than previous ones. The palate offers a viscous entry with honey marmalade and orange peel

Winemaker's Notes:

Nestled in the southeasy of Bordeaux, Château d’Yquem is the world’s most sought after dessert wine – the benchmark by which all other dessert wines are judged.
